Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
SQ Manager ("we", "us", "our") is an Android queue and ticket system built and operated by DNA Expert Solution (003567418-H), an independent software company. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect through this marketing website (squeue.net) and what data the SQ Manager Android app stores locally on the device it runs on.
1. The short version
- This website does not set tracking cookies and does not run third-party analytics. The only cookies that may be set are first-party functional cookies (for example, a language preference) and they are not used to identify you.
- The SQ Manager Android app is local-first. The queue, ticket, customer and configuration data it generates stays on the device you install it on. SQ Manager does not operate a cloud service for that data, does not upload it to our servers, and does not sell it to anyone.
- You can email us at admin@squeue.net to ask what we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it. We respond within 14 days.
2. Data the marketing website (squeue.net) collects
2.1 Server logs
Like every website, our hosting providers edge servers record the standard HTTP request metadata: your IP address (truncated at the edge), the request line, the response status, the user agent, and the referer. These logs are kept for up to 30 days for the purpose of operating, securing and debugging the service (for example, to block abusive traffic), and are not joined with any other dataset to build a profile of you.
2.2 Cookies
This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. The only cookies that may be set are first-party, functional cookies that remember your language preference (sq_lang) and a transient session cookie used by the static-file server. None of them contain personal data beyond a locale code.
2.3 Contact form / email
If you email us, the message (including your email address and anything you choose to write) is delivered to our admin@squeue.net inbox via standard SMTP. We keep those messages for as long as it takes to deal with your request, and for up to 12 months afterwards for record-keeping. You can ask us to delete any specific message at any time.
3. Data the SQ Manager Android app stores
The Android app is designed to run entirely on a single device. The data it creates - queue tickets, counter sessions, customer records, device configurations, dashboard user accounts, exported reports - is written to that devices internal storage and (when the app is used as a server) to the local web servers htdocs directory.
3.1 What stays on the device
- Queue configuration (services, counters, departments, opening hours, ticket prefixes).
- Live and historical ticket numbers, waiting times and call records.
- Dashboard user accounts (username, hashed password, permission level) and audit log entries.
- Customer feedback submissions captured at the kiosk (if your deployment uses that feature).
- Print templates and the print spool.
- Backups exported from the in-app backup tool. Backups stay on the devices user-accessible storage unless you move them yourself.
3.2 What is transmitted, and when
- When a phone is configured as the "Virtual Server" and another device on the same local network opens the dashboard URL or scans the QR code, that traffic is served directly by the on-device web server. It is not relayed through our infrastructure.
- The only outbound network call the app makes for analytics or licensing today is the in-app update check, which posts the current system version, the running apps package name and the currently installed version to the SQ_Lite_StandAlone_Updater service we operate. That payload contains no queue data, no ticket data and no customer data.
- If you choose to enable cloud delivery of an APK update through that updater, the URL of the artefact is fetched from our service. The artefact itself is served over HTTPS from a static bucket.
3.3 Crash reports
The app does not include Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry, or any third-party crash reporter. If the app crashes, the stack trace is written to the devices local log buffer and is not transmitted to us. You can attach the log to a support email yourself if you need help.
3.4 Permissions
The app requests only the Android permissions it needs to run: internet (for the update check and the on-device web server), Bluetooth / USB permissions (for thermal printers), and storage (for backups and ticket exports). It does not request location, contacts, microphone, or camera. The QR-code scan screen uses the camera only inside the scan activity; the bitmap is not stored or transmitted.
4. Children
SQ Manager is a business tool. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
5. Your rights under applicable personal-data protection law
If you are based in a jurisdiction with personal-data protection laws, the relevant statute gives you the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of that data if it is wrong.
- Withdraw consent to any processing that was previously opt-in.
To exercise any of these rights, email admin@squeue.net from the address you originally contacted us with (so we can verify the request) and we will respond within 14 days.
6. International transfers
Our marketing website is served from a CDN with edge nodes across multiple regions. The static site does not personalise content per visitor, so no identifiable data is replicated across regions as part of normal operation. Email correspondence is delivered to a Google Workspace mailbox, which is governed by Google's data-processing addendum.
7. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a material way we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, post a notice on the home page. Minor edits (typo fixes, link fixes) will be made silently.
